Just a bit about me:
The 2014-2015 school year is my eighth year at Pleasant View Middle School, and I'm excited to be working with the new class of 8th graders, along with Ms. Fisher, Ms. Ince, and Mrs. Miller. We’ve got a very strong team, and I know that with each new day, we’ll find new opportunities for learning and growth.
I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and came to Springfield to earn a degree from Evangel University. I eventually made my way to Missouri State University where I earned my teacher certification through the Master of Arts in Teaching program. When the opportunity presents itself, I also coach middle school soccer at Pleasant View, through Lake Country Soccer. Outside of school, I volunteer often at my church, watch lots of soccer, work around the house and read as much as possible, but most of all enjoy hanging out with my wonderful wife, Kristin (also a middle school English teacher), and our dog, Miles.
